Switching to Listify
Move your gift registry to Listify. We handle the switch for you.
You send us an export. We move your registries across and tell you exactly what came with them. Nothing reaches your storefront until you say go.
Coming from Gift Reggie or Swym? Tell us which app you're on and we'll tell you what your move looks like.
Your data is the first thing we protect.
Registries hold real money and real dates. Someone's wedding is in three weeks and half their list is already bought. So your current app stays switched on until you've seen the result and said yes.
What comes across
- Registry names, event types and event dates
- Every item on the list, with the quantities the registrant chose
- Registrant and co-registrant contact details
- Purchased quantities, so a list that's half bought stays half bought
- Shipping addresses, where the export carries them
What does not
Registry passwords. They're stored hashed, so there is nothing in any export to hand over. Registrants set a new one and carry on. Purchase history depends on your export. Gift Reggie carries it. From other apps, gifted progress restarts unless the order records can be reconstructed, and we'll tell you which of those you're looking at before you commit to a date.
Three steps, and most of them are ours.
- 1
You install Listify and send us your export
Pull the registry export out of your current app. It keeps running the whole time, so nothing on your storefront changes yet.
- 2
We check it, then move your registries across
We match your export against your Shopify catalog before moving anything, so the gaps turn up while they're still cheap to fix. Then we bring the registries in and tell you what came across.
- 3
You approve, then you launch
You look at the result in your own admin before a single shopper sees it. If something's wrong, we fix it before you launch.
We give you a date once we've seen your export. How long the move takes comes down to how cleanly your registry items match your Shopify catalog, and that's something we can check in an hour.
The links your customers already shared.
A registry link your customer emailed to forty guests points at your old app's address on your domain. That address belongs to the app, not to your store, so it stops resolving the day you uninstall. No registry app can change that, including us.
What we give you instead is a redirect file covering every migrated registry, which you import into Shopify in one go. A guest clicking a link they saved in March lands on the right registry and never learns anything moved.
Wishlist links are the exception. Those can't be recovered, and you should hear that from us now rather than find out later.
Why switch to Listify.
You are not starting over. You are upgrading.
An interface your team apologises for
An admin your team can actually use, and a storefront widget that inherits your theme's own fonts and colours instead of fighting them.
No idea what your registries are actually worth
Revenue attributed to registries, orders, and visitors by traffic source, on every plan including the free one.
Support tickets that go quiet
Direct answers from the two people who built the app. The features stores ask for have shipped in days.
The widget renders inside a shadow root, so your theme's CSS and ours can't collide. It ships as a theme app extension, so it survives theme updates and never writes a line into your Liquid. Your shoppers see it in 18 languages, matched to whichever one your store is serving.
What other stores say.

What the switch costs.
Nothing beyond your plan. Migration support is included on the Starter plan and above, every paid plan opens with a 7-day trial, and Listify charges a flat monthly fee rather than a percentage of what your registries earn. See full pricing.
Questions, answered honestly.
- Do my customers have to do anything?
- No. Their registries arrive already built, with the items and quantities they chose. The one thing they set again is a registry password, because passwords are stored hashed and can't be moved between apps.
- Will my existing registry links still work?
- Not on their own. Those links point at your old app's proxy address, which belongs to that app rather than to your store, so they stop resolving the moment you uninstall it. We generate a redirect file you import into Shopify, and it sends every one of those saved links to the right registry on Listify. Wishlist links are the exception and can't be recovered.
- What happens to purchase history?
- It depends on what your export carries. Coming from Gift Reggie, purchased items come across, so a registry that's half bought stays half bought. From other apps, gifted progress restarts unless the order records can be reconstructed. We'll tell you which case you're in before you commit to anything.
- Will I be paying for two apps at once?
- For a short window, yes. You keep your current app installed until you've approved the result, and that overlap is what makes the switch safe. We don't charge anything extra for the move itself.
- How long does it take?
- We give you a date once we've seen your export. How long it takes depends on how cleanly your registry items match your Shopify catalog, and that's something we can measure in an hour.
- What does it cost?
- The move is included with migration support, which sits on the paid plans. There's a free trial, and Listify never takes a percentage of your sales.
- What if something is wrong after we go live?
- You tell us and we fix it. You're talking to the people who wrote the app rather than a support tier that has to escalate you, so answers come back fast.
Make the switch with confidence.
Install Listify, send us your export, and see your registries in your own admin before anyone else does.
